Stephanie Love, founder of A Touch Above, has been helping people feel their best for over 25 years. Her path began at the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 2000, where she mastered Swedish, Deep Tissue, Facilitated Stretching, and Trigger Point Therapy—techniques that still form the foundation of her work today. Even early in her career, Stephanie combined her clinical training with a natural, intuitive touch, creating sessions that are both deeply effective and profoundly restorative.

Fresh out of massage school, Stephanie accepted her first position on Hilton Head Island—a place whose beauty and warmth immediately captured her heart. After years working in luxury spas, chiropractic care, and a physical therapy practice specializing in spinal injury and dysfunction, she is overjoyed to have returned to Hilton Head to raise her son and serve the community she has loved since the very start of her career.

With more than 15,000 hours of hands-on experience, Stephanie offers a truly holistic approach to bodywork—one that addresses not only physical tension but the whole person. She is also a lifelong learner, having completed training as a birth and postpartum doula, graduated from a 600-hour esthetics program, studied with the International End of Life Doula Association, and earned certification from the International Sound Healing Academy.

Stephanie’s path into the healing arts began with attending the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 2000. Her education at UCMT provided a strong foundation in multiple modalities, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Trigger Point Therapy, which are still at the core of her sessions today. While in school, she was blessed to uncover an innate talent and intuitive ability that informs her work as much as the clinical knowledge and training she received.

 In the decades that have followed, she has worked in luxury spas, a chiropractic clinic, and at a physical therapy practice specializing in spinal injury and dysfunction. Those experiences, combined with her private practice, have led her to develop a truly holistic approach to therapeutic bodywork, and total more than 15,000 hours of hands on bodywork.

Stephanie has continued to expand her offerings by completing the BirthWise Doula birth and postpartum doula training at Twin Lakes College of the Healing Arts in Santa Cruz, CA in 2001 and 2002. In 2007 she graduated from a 600 hour esthetician program at Skinworks School of Advanced Skincare in Salt Lake City, UT. She trained with the International End of Life Doula Association in 2018 in San Francisco, CA and with the International Sound Healing Academy in 2022.
